Migration web02.ntwrk.eu and web03.ntwrk.eu to web002.ntwrk.eu for 7 hours long

As announced by e-mail last week, we will be moving web02.ntwrk.eu and web03.ntwrk.eu to a new server at web002.ntwrk.eu.

Your website, e-mail and cronjobs will be taken offline starting at 23:00. At this point we will migrate all the data over to the new webserver. We expect to finish at last around 6:00 the next morning. This maintenance thread is updated when we experience problems in regards to the migration and topics may effect the finish time of the maintenance.

E-mails send within the period will be delivered at a later moment when the webserver is back online. No action is required from your side when using all our services (mainly our authoritative nameservers).

Support Unavailable by phone

Unfortunately our VoIP provider is experiencing issues. We're working with them to get everything back up and running. Because of this, we're unavailable by phone. Other means of support are still available.

  • The connection has been restored. We are back available by phone through our normal working hours as usual.

  • The Hague (NL) The Hague partially unavailable

We are currently investigating the issue to get it resolved as soon as possible.

  • We managed to pinpoint a single router that was behaving not as configured, and because of that the failover in the fibercut took more down then anticipated.

For now the issue in the router is resolved and we will continue to investigate the root case of the issue. After the root case has been determined, we'll do some managed failovers to ensure a fibercut won't effect our network like it did.

  • Our fiber between NIKHEF (Amsterdam) and The Hague currently experiences a fibercut. We're working closely with our supplier to fix the issue.

Further investigation will happen as our network should not have responded in the way it did. This fibercut should have happened "gracefully" and not take the network partially down. Later investigation will be held to further determinate and fix this problem.

  • Our network is back operational in The Hague. We are now searching for the root cause of the issue.
